When I was in my early twenties, I attended a Troubled Teen wilderness program. I thought it would change my life - and it did, but, it also kind of didn’t. For this story, I wrote, edited, and recorded, I went on a solo backpacking trip to reflect on my experience as a “troubled teen.” Winner of the 2022 Gotham Variety Audio Honors.

I co-created The Void with my friend and collaborator, Jamie Billings. The Void is a sadness-positive, death-positive, existential-doom-positive, non-fiction story-based podcast. Hosted and produced by two friends on a quest to explore the complexity of nothingness. Topics include: sudden death, ghost tours, insomia, and crime scene cleaners.

Night Shift, winner of the 2019 KCRW Radio Race Werk It Award
In the fall of 2019 I, along with the team of The Void, won the “Werk It” award for an outstanding piece of audio produced by a team of women during the 2019 Radio Race. The piece is a non-narrated audio documentary about a local labor and delivery nurse working the night shift.
