I Am Going To Reveal Something Personal About Myself

is a funny, outlandish and actually kind of vulnerable one-woman show about the risks of making art.

The show stars Sarah Dealy as a woman who has written and is about to perform a very vulnerable one-women show. In that show she plays herself, her mother and her grandmother. It is a show that culminates in Sarah revealing a very raw truth about her own life. As Sarah begins to perform the opening monologue of her solo show, she starts to panic about the potential fallout of revealing something personal and then everything goes off the rails. Will she reveal something personal? There’s only one way to find out…

“Relatable, extremely fun, filled with heart throughout.” - Tozy Magic (Clown and Hollywood Fringe Audience Member)

“A perfect deconstruction of the one-woman show. So funny, so smart, so subversive. And what a brilliant, hilarious, performance by Sarah Dealy! So good that it almost makes me jealous. And despite the many signatures required of the audience during the show, I am in no way contractually obligated to say any of this.”  - Nick Malis (Comedy Writer and Hollywood Fringe Audience Member)

“You might think the title is a joke, but it isn’t. Something very personal really is revealed, and it is both shocking and life-affirming. I was worried I would leave the show without having heard a personal thing, but luckily, I did hear it. And it changed me.” - Lizzi Sandell (Writer and Hollywood Fringe Audience Member)
